Ms. Wola Joseph

Wola is the Chief Legal and Company Secretary at Eko Distribution Company. She attended University of Ibadan, where she obtained her LL.B (Hons.) in 2005. She thereafter proceeded to Harvard Law School.

Wola is the pioneer Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary at Eko Electricity Distribution Plc (EKEDP).

Ms. Wola Joseph has also worked with Banwo & Ighodalo, a leading Corporate and Commercial law firm, as a Legal Associate and later with Lagoon Home Savings and Loans as its Company Secretary/ Legal Adviser.

She holds a law degree from the prestigious and reputable University of Ibadan, one of Africa’s oldest universities, where she obtained her LL.B (Hons.) in 2005.  She thereafter proceeded to renowned Harvard Law School, Massachusetts, U.S.A. where she obtained an LL.M (International Finance Law) in 2011.

Furthermore, she has obtained certifications in Financing and Documenting Power Projects, Fraud Risk Assessment, Investigation and Case Management as organized by FICO Tonbeller, Germany.  She was ranked 11th out of the top 50 General Counsels in Nigeria by the 2019 edition of LKS Seminars’ Legal Year 2019 Magazine.

Ms. Wola Joseph is also a member of various International Professional Organizations which include the American Bar Association, Nigerian Lawyers Association, USA, Harvard African Law Association, Harvard Women’s Lawyers’ Association and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, UK.
